Shipping and Covid

Electric Brewing Supply strives itself on fast turnaround of your order, however during these times of uncertainty and instability in both shipping and supply, we have been working hard to provide as prompt a service as we can.  It is important to note that during these pandemic times, the shipping carriers are overwhelmed themselves and are seeing volumes equal to or greater than what they would often see during the holiday rush.  For that reason, combined with the difficulties the pandemic has proven, for reliable labor, the carriers have dropped nearly all their service guarantees. 

What does this mean for you?

While we strive to ship within 1-2 business days of your order being received, no matter what the software states for an estimated delivery date, this is in fact an estimate.  The carriers will do their best to meet that target, but as trends are showing, they have had a difficult time doing so.  If something is critical, please think about having your order shipped FedEx Priority Air or 2nd Day air as they tend to be the most reliably delivered (albeit, the delivery may be late in the day).  Priority Mail has shown to be a best estimate and whether you select it or we use it for our flat rate per usual practice, we can't and they won't, guarantee your delivery.  As of 6/1/21 we no longer offer USPS service.

Planning your project

For the best estimate for a delivery time on product you are interested in, please reach out to us.  While most of the parts are listed as in stock, and very likely are, a few may be out of stock, but not reflected in the inventory correctly at this time. Our production process can often mix up numbers for a day or few.

Products currently seeing delays, or anticipated outages include:

  • Breakers
  • PIDs
  • Enclosures
  • Contactors
  • Plugs

UL listed products will vary considerably as some products are in stock, but delayed due to vendor moves or out of stock due to production shortages. 

Lead times of up to 6-8 weeks are proving to be more normal than the exception right now.  Please, if you have any questions, reach out to us.

We are working hard to source everything we can as promptly as possible, but please bear with us.  As the holidays heat up we are hoping to have some channels reopened but, again, this is all best hopes.  For the latest updates, feel free to reach out via email.
